Jagu'e'r is a user community for Google Cloud in Japan with over 2,100 members across 24 subcommunities for various topics.
The Jagu'e'r Evangelists were formed 6 months ago with the mission of enabling all members to enjoy activities and express their individuality.
Since becoming Evangelists, the presenters have worked on initiatives like showing appreciation, collaborating across subcommunities, and promoting Jagu'e'r externally.
The community itself has grown over 20% and become more active since the Evangelists were formed.
Being Evangelists has changed the presenters' lives by building management skills, improving their external presence, and creating connections across Japan.
(00:01) [music] [applause] [applause] Hello, we are Matsumori and Akimoto from Jaguar Evangelist, and today we will be talking about the community and career experience that we can all build together as cloud user community evangelists. I'm Ryota Akimoto, and I'm usually a consultant at Accenture, and I'm a software engineer at Sysmex, a company that develops medical devices. I'm a software engineer in my day job, but I'm not a Google Cloud person, I'm a Google Cloud user community person in the truest sense of the word. We'd like to start by explaining to you what a Jaguar is, and then we'll explain to you what a Jaguar is and what a community evangelist is. I'd like to start by explaining who Jaguar is and what we're all about, and then I'd like to talk about what the community evangelists are and how we've changed. The Jaguar is a community for enterprise users of Google Cloud in Japan, so it's not only engineers, but also business users and engineers in roughly 50/50 ratio. The Jaguar has 24 subcommittees, which are divided into 24 different business and technology topics. We have 24 sub-committees, divided into business and technology topics, such as the Culture of Data, which covers a wide range of data topics, and the Healthcare and Finance sub-committees, which focus on different industries, while we are involved in the management of the various communities or as owners. The Jaguar is a vibrant, user-centred operation that is camera-focused. If you would like to know about the events of the subcommittees, please take this QR code here, and I will talk a bit more and keep this slide, so please take it while you can. The main focus of the meetups is case study sharing and discussion, but we are also planning to hold hands-on sessions and hackathons in the future, so if you are interested in using the cloud, we would be very happy to hear from you. The reason for the appearance of the evangelist is that Mr. Akimoto was in a period of anguish about the fact that he wasn't able to involve enough new members. I wanted to promote the appeal of Jaguar more to the outside world, find new friends and involve new potential users. We have a culture meeting where we talk about corporate culture, but when it comes to corporate culture, I think there are a wider range of people who can be reached on different days, and for that reason we need to propagate the appeal of the culture more and more. The first thing to do is to make sure that you have a good understanding of what you're doing and how you're doing it. The company's mission is to create a community in which all members can truly enjoy their activities and demonstrate their individuality. We are here to help you to realize a community where all members can enjoy their activities and show their individuality, and where new challenges are brought to the community. The first thing I'd like to talk about is gratitude and support. I often say "Ippon-zuri", which means to start from small contributions with low hurdles, such as helping with the blog or administration, to those who reacted with slack, or to those who might have more passionate thoughts. The most important thing to remember is that you are not going out to catch a fish, you are just going out for a drink and then you can go and have a drink. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to get to know each and every one of them. I'd like to enforce a culture of mutual appreciation within the community, and I've included the word jsx here, which is actually the name of the service used in Jaguar's Slack. In the lecture given by Mr. Nakatsugawa, he mentioned that he was tired of the "reaction" to people who had contributed or were continuing to contribute. In Mr. Nakatsugawa's speech, he mentioned that reactions are important in blogging, and we want to create a culture where people can react to new contributors and those who continue to contribute. The first thing I did as an Evangelist was to make the community more interesting, and while Akimoto-san's drinking parties are great, the cross-sectional activities of the subcommittees are also a value for us. We are also planning to collaborate with cultural associations, which at first glance may not seem relevant to you, but when you listen to what they have to say, you will find out that they are interesting. By realising such collaborations, we hope to make people who originally thought they had nothing to do with it think it's interesting and that this field is good, so we've been thinking about collaborations and collaborative projects. We've also started an online suggestion box called Chain Voice, and although we don't have many examples of this, it's aimed at people who don't know where to send their messages and are afraid to send them to the 2,100 people in public channels. We've also started an online suggestion box called Chain Voice for people who don't know where to post their problems or questions, and we've been speaking at events like this to get more people to know about Jagai, and we've recently started a climate for @ID, which is an article media for it media. I've been speaking at events like this and I've recently started a climate change campaign on @ID, and I've been speaking at events like this and I've recently started a climate change campaign on @ID, and I've been speaking at events like this and I've recently started a climate change campaign on @ID, and I've recently started a panel discussion with three interesting young people from Jaguar who are good at multicloud, and we've published an article about the discussion. I'm not going to end on a brag, so let's move on to the next one. I would like to take the baton from here and talk about the episodes that changed my life. I'm going to talk about the changes in the community itself, and I'm going to talk about some of the initiatives we've taken since we became evangelists, and as a result of those initiatives we've seen an increase in new members. We have also increased the number of subcommittees as a result of our continued efforts, and there are now 24 subcommittees, which has increased by about 8 since we became the new version of ourselves, and there are already several more that are being prepared for launch. The number of subcommittees has increased to 24 at present, but this number has increased to about eight since the new edition of the Jaguar itself, and there are also several more that are in the process of being launched. The number of active users of Slack has been increasing as a result of the positive 40% of the community that has been watching Slack. So we're not only changing the community, we're also changing ourselves. We've changed, not only in the community, but also in ourselves. The second thing is the ability to communicate. The second thing is the power of communication. The first thing to do is to make sure that you have a good understanding of what you're doing and how you're going to do it, and then you can make the most of it. I'm sure some of you might think it's an offline event, but actually we started online, so we have Jaguar members all over Japan, and I've got a lot of friends in Tokyo, and I'm going to have a very fun Genghis Khan in Kansai next time. The first thing I would like to talk about is the Jaguar Park, which will be held on the 8th of June and will be an all round gathering of 2,000 Jaguars. We have had the opportunity to meet face to face after the Corona, and we have had a very enjoyable conversation about the actual hybrid, and we are going to hold a Jaguar Park on the 8th of June to create the future era. We are going to hold a Jaguar Park on the 8th of June so that people who are interested in Jaguar can come in and have fun with us. We've been talking about how our title as evangelists means innovation, how we're going to create a different world in this world, and we think that's what communities can do, and we're going to do the same things we've always done with the same people, and what lies beyond that is a lyric. We have to change ourselves and we have to change the community through new encounters and new knowledge. I think it is important for us to adapt to the new era, and I believe that our community is the weapon to do so. Jaguar is open to all people, and we are open to all monds, but we also want to be open to everyone. I'm sure you'll be able to find a way to get the word out about the Jaguar brand and the Jaguar brand's products and services, but I'm sure you'll also be able to find a way to get the word out about the Jaguar brand and the Jaguar brand's products and services. I've been invited to speak at this conference and I'm really proud of the fact that I've been invited to speak in English. I've been studying hard for the past month, and this may be Akimoto-driven innovation, but it's actually a change for me, and I've met people in the community that I wouldn't have met if I'd only been doing my day job, and I'm making changes for myself and creating a new career for myself. The most important thing to remember is that you can't just go out there and do what you love, you can't just go out there and do what you love, you can't just go out there and do what you love, you can't just go out there and do what you love. We're going to have a 5:00 off session at the end of the show, so please come along and listen to it.
